Mildred Koomson is a governance, compliance, and finance professional with over two decades of experience spanning credit administration, financial management, and organisational governance.
Mildred currently serves as Governance and Compliance Officer at Savannah Impact Advisory, where she develops and implements governance policies, coordinates Board and Committee meetings, and ensures the organisation's compliance with applicable laws and regulations. She also supports the investment team with compliance reviews of portfolio funds, governance due diligence, and KYC checks.
Prior to this role, she served as Coordinator at the Ghana Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (GVCA), where she managed membership onboarding, revenue collection, stakeholder engagement, and the implementation of association programmes and initiatives.
Mildred spent nearly a decade at GroFin Ghana Limited, rising to Credit Administration Manager. In this role, she oversaw credit administration activities including legal implementation, disbursement, collateral management, and credit risk oversight. She earlier served as Office Coordinator and Accounts Officer at the same organisation, managing financial records, compliance returns, and office operations.
Mildred holds an MSc in Corporate Governance and a BSc in Administration (Accounting) from Methodist University College Ghana.
