Amma Lartey is a purpose-driven leader with over 15 years of experience in the social enterprise, impact investing, and nonprofit sectors across Africa.
Amma serves as CEO of Impact Investing Ghana, an initiative to mobilise $1 billion in funds for impact investing in Ghana and West Africa. In this role, she has built strategic partnerships with key ecosystem stakeholders, commissioned research to map the impact investing landscape, and established programmes including the Enterprise Support Organisation Collaborative, Deal Source Africa, and the Ghana Research and Industry Collaborative.
She is co-founder and Board Chair of Social Enterprise Ghana, the association for organisations in the social enterprise sector in Ghana, and previously served as Africa Regional Director of Reach for Change, supporting social enterprise accelerators across multiple African countries.
Amma is an accredited trainer for SDG Impact Standards and was named Outstanding Individual Achievement of the Year at the 2024 Krutham Africa Impact Investment Awards for her contributions to the continent's impact investing ecosystem.
She holds a BA from the University of Ghana and an MBA from Babson College, and is a Fellow of the Africa Leadership Initiative–West Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
